How we support our young people

At Connected Nest Support Service, we are dedicated to building a strong foundation that empowers every child to realise their full potential. We provide the essential tools and support they need to succeed both now and in the future.

Promoting Well-being and Ensuring Safety

We ensure the safety and happiness of every child in our care. We make certain they have access to regular medical, dental, and optical check-ups. Additionally, we promote healthy eating habits to support their overall well-being.

Learning and Leisure

We help children discover and engage in activities they love, while also encouraging them to explore new interests. Our support extends to their educational journey, where a dedicated keyworker is available to assist with homework and participate in school events and excursions.

Fostering Positive Relationships

We believe that family is the cornerstone of a child's development. We encourage maintaining strong family ties and also assist in forming new, meaningful friendships.

Money

We provide weekly allowances and other financial resources to help children learn the value of money and gain independence.

What is the Role of Residential Child Care?

Residential child care plays a crucial role in preparing, implementing, and reviewing tailored programmes for individual children and young people. It focuses on assessing and planning for their independence skills, preparing them for life after care. Additionally, it supports young people in engaging with lifelong plans, ensuring they are set up for future success.

What are the Duties of Care in a Residential Home?
